Model Garage, already a well established business, was acquired by the present owner Rod Hunt in 1992. The base of the business has moved over the years but is currently based in Colyton, East Devon at the premises of Rod`s other business Colyton Antiques Centre which he acquired in 2000.
Some years ago the Model Garage email address was hijacked by spammers. We were forced to abandon the addresses with the @modelgarage.co.uk suffix. Should you receive a message with this suffix in the "from address" it is spam and did not originate here.

We are now well established very close to the Colyton Terminus of the Seaton Electric Tramway. This is the old Colyton Station which was on a LSWR branch line servicing the seaside resort of Seaton. The line closed in 1966 under the infamous "Beeching" cuts. The Tramway Company acquired the Seaton to Colyton stretch and opened the line up to Colyton in 1980. The Antiques Centre lies on the outskirts of the delightful town of Colyton. When you come to see us you must go into the town and admire the wonderful array of buildings. The church is justly famous for its lantern tower and there is a wealth of other interesting things to see. The town is known as the most rebellious in Devon due to the part played by Colyton men in the Monmouth rebellion. Just click on www.colyton.co.uk for more information.
